Thanks @clarkman and @mcswny. Wasn’t trying to be cranky with my comment but I still have trouble trying to get the accent colors to stay where I want them, for some reason that back taper is tough for me and these were my better attempts (hell that dahlberg river head was attempt #3). And yea I’m thinking they will fish but just need some more reps to get better control and shaping. But that’s the fun - trying to learn new stuff
Using the copic or some other airbrush system?

Hoping so! Sat down to tie a couple coho flies and realized I kind of forgot how I had been tying this type of pattern. Through this together and I think it will fish!

Yeah, copic. Was running low on poppers, so got a bunch of heads out and painted a bunch with the kids. My 9 year old son did those frog heads. The ones my daughter did turned out a bit more...uh...interesting.

This is just another of the hundreds of variations of a wooly bugger/worm
Original recipe did not call for a wire rib but if you need it then add it to your fly. I just embedded the hackle in the valley between the chenille wraps.

Messed around with a few a couple years ago.
I think I caught a couple fish on ones similar to this. Ended up converting the idea behind this one into a stinger model and caught more fish.
