Our host Wegg returning from a day fishing a loch in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. This picture was taken 12 years ago. Can't wait to return this summer.

One more picture from that trip. At lunch I bet our gillie he couldn't cast my entire fly line. He said "here, give me that", took the rod, stripped off the line, worked out a couple false casts and shot my entire floating line out onto the loch.

I love days like this on the water, where you can cast about as far as you can see and you can hear fish rises and have to cast to the sound rather than the visual evidence.
