Life of the Party
This caddisfly larva and pupa were found in the Russian River. They're usually found in pools and slow moving water among the torrent sedge and ludwigia. They're most common from February through May. Larvae are 10-13 mm. Cases are about 20-30 mm. Pupal cases run about 17 mm and the pupae are about 13 mm.
