Not perfect, but best attempt out of 3 I've done over the last few weeks.
Scud with ostrich herl legs.
And just messing around. But I like it.
Flash tail. Flash body wrap with loose spaced ostrich herl, soft hackle to finish.
Not sure photo shows it, but like how the Flash shimmers through the ostrich in the body

Thanks! I fish variations of this minimuddler more than any other fly. Works both dry and wet.

Hook - Single salmon
Thread - Fluorescent pink (I used red. No pink thread)
Body - Fluorescent pink chenille. Chenille should be wrapped in two larger distinctive lumps
Center Hackle - Fluorescent red tied on as a collar and tied back slightly

Body - Rear two-thirds, embossed silver tinsel; the front third, dubbed with red lamb's wool

Cheeks - Short strand of red yarn tied in at each side and frayed out

I might have to look into this tube thang…do you rig it stream side by threading leader through the cone and rear tube and tie on a hook?
