Chewy's halo shrimp
Christmas Island special with a tungsten bead to make it ride hook point up instead of dumbbell eyes. Tying this version for really skinny water - significantly lighter than dumbbells. Got the idea from the vid linked above.
Would work great for silvers

Started with something entirely different in mind then remembered what day it was; black head would probably have been more appropriate but had dug out a piece of deer hair I haven’t used before and wanted to see how it behaved.

Couple of skunks, homebound today doing a few things around the house and tied some flies in between. Plan to fish some traditional stuff this winter when the conditions allow and step away from the big stuff and rabbit from time to time these are on 1.5's
I ordered up some materials from Josh @SpawnFlyFish, but in the meantime I tried some free styling with the stuff I had.
I used a Firehole 523 #4 hook with a 3/16” tungsten orange bead.
Marabou tail, gold diamond braid + uv ice dub body, flesh/orange rabbit strip and a collar of mallard. And a few strands of pearl midge flash.

A fellow named @jasonbasher on IG posted that he’d caught cutts in the salt on a booby.
