Another attempt/variation at a "Schoolie Fly". Bob Popovic's answer to when predator species are hyper-keyed on tiny bait. As albacore have been reported to be recently. Was hoping to test this tomorrow, but a low pressure system coming in has other ideas.

Tied on a 3/0 U-401. 30# FC for the outrigger flies. Rough, but I think will fish OK...

Post-Op Bumble

Nothing special but not bad for 2 days after rotator cuff surgery; literally tied with one arm strapped to my chest. Hardest part was re-adjusting height of tying station so I could use my hand (will have to get my wife to help me raise my chair). Won’t be doing anything intricate for a while but I can still keep my hands busy.

No worries. Couldn’t fish at all this year or do much of anything useful with my right arm; I can live with some post-surgical pain as well as anything from the physical therapist as long as I get the functionally back.
