collar/head - deer hair dyed black (1 Tbs Rit Dark Brown/1 cup water overdyed with 1 Tbs Rit Black/1 cup water)

Sorry, not sorry . My day on the water this weekend chasing pinks with @Nick Clayton really opened my eyes to the joys of targeting pinks from the boat when they are around. It has to be one of the most enjoyable fisheries in Washington. Big, hard fighting fish that attack your flies in packs. What’s not to like (except overcrowded beaches, that is a bit annoying)…

Holy moly what a beauty of color! I really like that grizzly hackled feather in purple and orange, very unique.

A few things happened to be in my vise tonight ...quick and dirty. If I guided, these types of flies would be my guide flies....quick, easy and effective (although a couple of the tuna patterns are more experimental).
