Making a few copies of the hammerdown hopper before I loose the other original Zak sent. These are on sz. 10 jstockard dry hooks, the same length as the 12 2xl's I received.

Of course I had to hares ear the template.

What company remakes those older style metal clip boxes? I have found a couple but they want an arm n leg.

I’m not really sure. The two I have are Wheatley’s and if memory serves me, they did cost an arm and a leg

Tip - Either the floss blend (see below)* or orange floss of choice
Tail - Same floss as tip (I used the floss blend*)
Butt - Black beaver dubbing
Rib - Copper wire or oval tinsel
Body - Rear half fluorescent green floss, front half peacock herl
Hackle (throat) - Black hen
Underwing - Floss blend* or peachy orange floss to tag under green, fluorescent floss to tip of tail
Wing - Tented teal

*Floss blend - Green, orange and yellow floss

shoulder - chukar partridge dyed sunburst (1 Tbs Rit Golden Yellow/1 cup water)
collar/head - deer hair
