No decent pics, but last time I was at this (Very Popular) spot, there were several Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers doing the same thing; flying sorties on Caddis and small Stoneflies. That was unexpected behavior.Nice picks. Those look like killdeer eggs.
Cedar waxwings are such pretty birds. I know they like berries, didn't know about the flycatcher stuff. You get what's available.

Interesting fact: frigate birds can't get wet. That's why you'll never see them on the water.
