Now that we're enjoying our "Golden Years", we sometimes like to dip into our retirement savings and enjoy
a “staycation” medley of international cuisine favourites.
Here's just one example:
Macaroni (Italian)
White Cheddar sauce (English probably)
Polish wieners (Costco)
Drizzled with a tomato marinara sauce (Heinz - a fusion of German/Italian)
Budweiser beer (sounds German)

Reminds me of week night dinners after navigating home with the kids from daycare the wife and the end of a long arse day as a commuter family loaded in a econobox car. Bisquick wrapped weiners and mission macaroni… and green beans from a can. Then clean food off the floor and dishes and get horizontal cuz 5:00 AM is not far off. My daughters are 38 and 43 now. They work from home and travel for fun… weee!
