Memorial day weekend we will be back at Red River again. this is our 33 year there even though the motorcycle rally is cancelled. We will be staying at a cabin of a friend above Red River for the weekend.

Some of us happen to like those little shit eating dogs. Probably was provoked by the shit eating idiot in waders.

Pretty good. Caught an 18 inch Rainbow, bought a new bowling ball and about 200 bucks of tying materials.

Crab legs and grilled shrimp for supper.

Those are simi-seal leeches.

I repair all of my Woolly Buggers unless the hook has been straightened a little by retying marabou and Schlappen tails back onto the back of the fly. Been doing this since the early 90's.

Those leeches look like killers!

Yup real nice, already got 3 1/2 dozen tied up.

A black or purple mini leech or Borrachio Leech in size 10 or 12.

They actually look like the springs from an old mouse trap. I'm sure they can be adopted to fly tying in some way. I know I would find a use for them on my desk.
