Honestly, the intermediate would probably work fine for pinks in the boats spots I fish. You’re targeting fish porpoising on the surface usually. I tend to use the I/3/5 for coho so just use it for pinks too and it’s worked fine. Far from an expert here though. Never really targeted them...

Both and it depends. From the boat likely the I/3/5 OBS. Dependent on the beach, the I/3/5 or a straight intermediate. Some boat spots the I/9 might get used.

Ha, I was like Joey Chestnut out there. The moochers seemed to have it worse off than the jig guys though. First time I’ve ever seen an eagle swoop down and snag a recently released one from another boat. That was pretty cool.
