16 is one of my favorites. I have a Citori White Lightning and a BPS. Also an old Stevens 94…Hero shot of me with a Merriam's turkey from the Kettle Falls area. That shotgun is a Winchester Model 97 16 gauge, made in 1904.View attachment 103786
I own 20's & 12's but the 16ga has been my go-to upland shotgun for about 25 years now, maybe more. I hunt with two old Nickel-steel Model 12's, an LC Smith sxs, a Remington Model 11, the Winchester Model 97, and I recently picked up a Genuine Sears & Roebuck /JC Higgins 16ga bolt action shotgun. I plan to draw turkey blood with the JC Higgins this spring. They're all old.16 is one of my favorites. I have a Citori White Lightning and a BPS. Also an old Stevens 94…
