I think you'd be shocked as well my friend if you really totaled it all up. Between income, gas, property, sales, and the litany of fees etc you are sitting near there as well. Federal income tax is simply the beginning.

But the joke was you were complaining about federal stuff (congress/IRS). Your property tax isn't paying for that. Neither is your sales tax, city fees, etc

I was unaware the thread was so targeted to only the federal raping of the taxpayer. You're right, our lord is a good one. Long may he reign. The real joke is how few people realize as to what share the government skims your earnings.
