NFR College Football 2022

Non-fishing related
I missed all the big time games yesterday. Both of my boys were playing in “must win games” yesterday where the winner would be the league champ and move on to the playoffs. The Carrol College Saints beat College of Idaho to win the Frontier Conference championship and a birth to the NAIA championship tournament.

Unfortunately, the Golden West CC Rustlers lost to Fullerton. One kid gets a ring and the other gets to play in a meaningless Junior College bowl game…neither will be home for Thanksgiving. My wife was mostly concerned about the Thanksgiving part😂.

I was on the HS football team but I was the kicker so I didn’t actually play! But I was always impressed by strategy that makes the game appear a lot different than you think. Maybe Coach Potter can explain.
Are you referring to what the people in the stands think should be happening vs what actually happens?

Hells yeah
Go Carrol
In addition to my son being on the team. There are 7 ex-CHS Vikings on the squad. In 5 minutes we should hear who they drew for the first round. I doubt they get to host a game but it would be pretty awesome to see a warm weather team arrive to a frozen Nelson Stadium in Helena.

If there wasn't some trash talking and predictions on this thread, it'd be pretty damn boring...

Go Bison !!!!

Yeah I deserve that. Ran my mouth before the game so what was I thinking? I'm old enough to know better. Maybe it was the power of alcohol. I've never even been the first to suggest a bet as it seems to make for bad luck. Oh well , back to the vise. We have Utah next. It won't be easy either.

My pompass assholiness got out of hand also, I'll try to keep it in check this weekend...all bets are off for the apple cup

Go Coogs !!!
:)
