Creekside Angling Company, Issaquah

Buzzy

I prefer to call them strike indicators.

I read on the other forum that Creekside was burglarized two days ago, this is from the other site:

"Someone broke into Creekside Angling last night/ this morning. I was just in there and the owner told me they cleaned out the real case. I will reach out about getting a better list posted in the coming days. Items of note would be the high end Abel reels without cases. Oddly enough they passed over the Sage rods and only grabbed Redington and Echo’s. Anyways, keep an eye out, contact the shop at (425) 392-3800 if anything comes up."

I truly despise thieves.

If anyone sees the list of gear stolen please share so we can all keep an eye out.
From Creekside's instagram this afternoon: "...Abel Rove Native Rainbow 5/7 & 9/11 reels and a pile of Costa sunglasses are notable items, they will not have any packaging and they will probably have minor blemishes. A pile of Abel, Galvan and Ross reels were also taken."

That’s terrible news…they are my local fly shop, and I have bought my first fly rod & reel from them before they moved…

Same thing happened to Pacific Fly Fishers last week. Didn't talk with them about what they targeted, but when they got hit about a year prior it sounds like the primary target was spey rods. Sounds like there's a pattern. If I had to play Columbo, I'd venture a guess that the two break-ins are connected.

Sadly - there's not much we can do other than supporting local shops and trying to be careful about what we buy online.
