What should the title be? Russell is Cooking or maybe Russell is Cooked or The Roasting of Russell?
What could be fun is to have a contest to name it. The winner gets a coupon for a free Dangerwitch at Subway!
Oh wait. They removed it already?

Subway really needs to find better spokespeople. How about Peyton Manning? I love him!

Maybe when Broncos release Russell (can they/will they? do that? )….Russell can run for Vice President on Kanye’s ticket in 2024.

We can have another contest to come up with their political slogan!

If you have listened to Hugh Millen, the cerebral verbose analyst, over the years he has pointed out RW3 lack to see easy gimme routes/plays. Nothing was more evident when he didn’t see his wide ass open receiver over the middle vs a C2 coverage. Aikman had no problem pointing it out. Easy 10+. The question is not only what is he seeing? But what is he thinking? I think he needs space to play well… roll outs and deep PAP are his forte…. Get back to it. He’s not a pocket gun slinger, not sure he ever could/will be.
Play to his strengths.

Good analysis

Bum throwing shoulder and now a hamstring injury? 😬
I was listening to Bump and Stacy yesterday on KIRO AM radio yesterday while driving to babysitting. Bump, (i think it was Bump, pretty sure it was) said that he felt Russell’s hamstring injury was legit but he wasn’t buying the shoulder injury.

And i wondered why he said that. But i arrived at my babysitting destination before i heard the rest of his reasoning.
Do athletes really fake injuries? And if so, was he implying the report of a shoulder injury was to maybe explain Russell’s failure to live up to his legend?

No I don’t believe most fake injuries. If anything they down play them. Most don’t want anyone taking their seat at the table for a part of a game or a game or several games. Why Dak was so anxious to get back.

Panthers send McCaffrey to the 49rs...
Wow, didnt see that one coming.

Injury-prone player to injury-plagued backfield. What could possibly go wrong? (or right if you're a seahawks fan)
Yeah, but I bet Pete Carroll still sharted a little when he heard about that trade -- especially considering how well the Seahawks defend against the run.

Because of the money i feel sorry for him. I’ve never been impressed by that kind of money and would never want it for myself.

I used to really like him until a few years ago (even before he nicknamed himself Mr. Unlimited). We do have a culture of building up athletes and musicians and celebrities only to knock them down later. He might be a bit of a narcissist and phony, but he’s not a mean guy, so i can’t help but i still feel a bit of empathy for how it must be for him to go from hero to meme fodder on social media and booed where he played for so long.
I must admit that this is the realization I'm coming to also. The player that we admired in 2012, 2013, 2014 has changed with the pursuit of fame (stats, MVP, GOAT, celebrity) and wealth.

"There is no 'i' in team but there is in win." - Michael Jordan

Russell is making it difficult for me now to feel a bit sorry for him.
I don't feel sorry, but I do feel empathy and hope he can rediscover the RW of his early pro years.
