Pete seems more energetic and positive this year. I think for he and John (and maybe all coaches and GM's) building an NFL roster is way more fun than maintaining one. Just look back at how the overall outlook changed for the organization after the Super Bowls. It quickly turned from "Look at all of these great young players!" to all of them lining up for their payday. It destroyed the LOB. That, plus a number of draft and trade busts lead to a long, slow, slide into mediocrity. It can't be fun dealing with prima donna's and malcontents. There's way more fulfillment in finding and cultivating talent, and they absolutely killed it with this year's draft class.

Probably pretty happy not to be baby sitting a unhappy QB as well….

After the losing prediction I made on total touchdowns Monday (Over/Under was 2, I took the under), this weeks game has hope for as many as 4 total touchdowns...
But I'm still taking the under...
;)
...Till somebody proves they can score at night...
Looking to watch the Cards continue to tank.

This is how I was starting to feel about Russell too.

Yes … I saw this earlier … another cringeworthy ad. Russell should fire his agent!

i really liked Marshawn on Sherman’s podcast from last week. He isn’t piling on Russell and is worried about Russell’s mental health. The whole podcast is 36 minutes long. This clip is only 9 minutes I think. It’s pretty funny. Can’t believe how loquacious Marshawn is!

It was interesting listen to KJR this morning.
They had on Mike Sando from the Athletic.
He was describing how Russell Wilson is moving now compared to a few years go.
I’m paraphrasing here, but he said it looks like he is try scramble while wearing a 20 lb weighted scuba diving belt.
