Because of the money i feel sorry for him. I’ve never been impressed by that kind of money and would never want it for myself.
I used to really like him until a few years ago (even before he nicknamed himself Mr. Unlimited). We do have a culture of building up athletes and musicians and celebrities only to knock them down later. He might be a bit of a narcissist and phony, but he’s not a mean guy, so i can’t help but i still feel a bit of empathy for how it must be for him to go from hero to meme fodder on social media and booed where he played for so long.
At the same time i think him not proving his worth sort of vindicates Pete Carroll, who i still really like a lot.
Gotta say, though Russell is not boring me with this game . He rarely did when he played. I love watching close games more than i would love my team blowing away the other.

Well yes, there is reason to cheer for that! I didn’t say i wanted Russell to be a winner. I just meant i felt a little bad about enjoying how badly he’s been doing compared to Geno.The worse he does, the better Seattle's first round draft pick is. I hope he gets sacked a few more times
Edited to add: i feel like he’s the new guy in school who doesn’t have anyone to sit next to in the cafeteria. I know what that is like having been a military brat all my school years.
Opposite for me. I have always found the Russell Wilson offense to be painfully boring. So many 3 and outs and chucking it away. Very rarely methodically sustaining drives
Even though that game went to OT, it was a rather boring game.
Most of the prime time games so far this year have been duds.
Hopefully that is it for seeing the Broncos for awhile.
As far as Wilson goes, he can have his money but can’t bitch when the Broncos are unable to put other pieces around him due to his cap hit.

4 of the Broncos first 6 games have been in primetime. The league bought the hype. They have a Sunday night game vs. KC later this season.

Hard to blame the NFL for that one. It is a division game and, well, it is KC...
They can still flex out of that game if Denver continues to stink up the place.
