Did some fishing yesterday. Water temps were fairly decent, was good weather to throw my popper around and even managed to catch some trout on it which blew my mind. Followed up with an absolute hog of a largie

Best bass on a fly was on Sunday.
My oldest son and I went fishing at Lake Selmac, OR
Nick was fishing with his bait caster and I was fishing with my 3wt and a #12 bead head olive bugger.
I was targeting the blue gill and catching many, then none, then many.
As the day was wearing on I made a cast at a weed ball and wham.
Not a big bass, about 13", but on a 3wt fly rod, wow. I'm glad I was using 3x tippet to help cut through the weeds.
