Does Coyote Urine repel rats?

Cleaning up the wood pile, I noticed rat droppings. The guy we've used for pest control before (bees, ants) said he could get them with poisons or traps and also said some people buy Coyote Urine (Amazon, Cabela's)for this purpose. Ok...

The product sites mention many animals have a fear of Coyotes and will avoid going nearby. Has anyone tried this? If so, how would you rate the results?

Years ago there were tales of hippies going to the circus to obtain lion poop to dissuade deer and rabbits from eating their pot plants. Unfortunately, these days, (allegedly) the pot growers just decimate the wildlife with poison.

Here in town we have rats. People often leave dog food bowls outside. The rats like that. I saw some rats outside and went full on "Davey Crocket" on their asses. I used live traps ever since I was a kid and I have enjoyed playing with live traps. The trail of bait, using natural "fencing" observing their habits..etc..
The wharf rats were released back to the waterfront.
Maybe buy a live trap..play Davey Crockett, and have some fun with those little creatures.... before letting them loose to live their second life?

I know that if you put it on plants that rabbits like they won’t eat them. I wouldn’t recommend it in your vegetable garden.

I used it for skunks and it worked.

Got some to dissuade the feral cats in neighborhood. They loved the piss out of it and sat around or played in it.
