Sorta like Hawks and Mariners fans when they fail to make the playoffs, very fair-weather, maybe the most fair-weather, I'm not saying that, but many people say it, very powerfully ...I'm pretty sure there's other Chefs fans on here, seem to remember some others...
But they vanished like the Chefs playoff hopes did last season, probably from shame.
Fair-weather?
Every home game sold out since 2003 (including the Mora era). One of the longest season ticket wait lists in the NFL. Also, quick reminder: the Hawks are the ones holding the Lombardi right now. Where were the Chefs last January? I think Mossy already covered that.
I’m not saying you hopped on the Chiefs bandwagon when Mahomes showed up, but a lot of people are saying it. Very powerfully. Tremendous people. Or the 22 years between playoff wins? I’m guessing a lot of “lifelong” Chiefs fans were real quiet from ‘94 to 2016.
