Bucknell? They're in even worse than normal shape (1-7) but having lost the majority of its experienced and talented players due to graduation and transfers, it's to be expected. But, to lose to Lafayette 20-7, at home in Lewisburg, isn't excusable.

It would have been interesting to see if Knowles and some of the Lion's best players would have stayed on board if the AD would have hired back the interim coach who the team rallied around through the end of the season. AD said "Campbell was a good fit for the program" and that statement has yet to be proven.

Lehigh was undefeated until their loss to Cornell.
 
In Eugene a real football game broke out in the 4th qtr with pass completions, first downs and everything. Probably set an NCAA record for punts in the first half. Hope Dante returns soon. At least it's a win. Way past my bedtime though.
 
Another strange game was the "Refrigerator Bowl" in Pullman in 1955 when the total paid attendance was "ONE" ! San Jose St. vs WSU. It was cold.
 
I happened to catch tonight's Missouri State vs. Delaware game. Went to Delaware for my freshman year. Was a high scoring contest. The game was relatively close during the first half and then after Missouri State went up 35-31 in the third quarter, Delaware went on a tear defensively and offensively and built up a 58-35 lead. Final score was 61-38.
 
Running the gauntlet of the Big 10 is very hard to do. Yes I believe if Oregon runs the table they will be in the mix. Still half a season to go. Some will crumble.
