My wife and I were visiting my mom in Port Angeles one weekend. I had a brief hall pass and headed west out of town with this rod and my Ambassadeur reel. Waded down a small "river" and pitched my yarn and corkie lure into a seam and hooked a small chum hen. I released her and wondered about her beau..... pitched the same rigging into the run and darn near lost the rod to a violent grab. A big buck chum took off downstream almost spooling me before the line broke. Mojo, brother! This rod has mojo.You're killing me Small. Like I need another 83C.
