I was in Montreal one October a loooong time ago and couldn’t figure out why the Québécois were celebrating Columbus Day. Thought maybe they had seceded from Canada proper. NOT!

There may have been alcohol involved. I was sternly told to mind my own business and go back across the border. Thank god my mother had passed aw…. Shit, that sounds even worse……”didn’t hear me.”

Wow…turkey and poutine. I suppose it’s kinda the same as mashed taters and gravy….might havta try that this year
