road trip to the Northwest Territories

We are leaving shortly for 3 weeks or so to drive up to Great Slave Lake/Fort Smith and a gazillion points in between. I'm taking my 4 wt. and this is not a fishing trip per se. but if the opportunity presents itself ... Wood Buffalo National Park here we come. Any advice about where to spend or not spend time would be welcome .We plan on spending time in the Jasper area on the return ...

No advice but sounds like a great trip

A lifetime ago I saw some woodland buffalo up in the Yukon… crazy stuff when one is accustomed to seeing them on the plains or in broad valleys.
