Let's see em!

Likely summer of 1987, on the back deck of my house growing up. Had just figured out how to catch planted trout consistently and posed for a hero photo:

20 somethings are wearing jean jackets, like your awesome one, again!
LOL, that Sherpa lined Levi’s jacket was a favorite of mine for many years. I actually kept it as an emergency backup under the back seat of my truck until about 2-3 years ago. I was cleaning out the vehicle, saw it and decided to try it on. Sadly, it had mysteriously shrunk due to the extended storage time and was no longer wearable. πŸ™

1972, 24 years old scouting goats in SW MT. Bagged a nice Billy 3 months later on the backside of the tall peak cross-canyon behind me. Oh to be there again . . .

I love this one of my dad and grandpa at Meadow Lakes from the mid-80's...who shares the rowing seat anyway?

Two healthy rainbows in 1991. Cross-stitch Mariners logo. Sweats soaked from the rain. My dad taught us fishing stamina at a young age. Proudly wearing the pink bracelet to prove I was an expert swimmer at summer camp the week before.

Good sockeye day on the Kenai around 1997 and good coho day in Valdez in 2003 with my youngest brother.

Eagle River king salmon in 1999. Mom dropped me off for the afternoon...I called her about 45 minutes later and told her I needed to be picked up. Wish I still had that Sonics hat.

2003 was a good year for big fish. My biggest dolly and king both on the Kenai.

First Meadow Lake wallfish for my uncle (1992, 10lbs!!!), dad (1994, 6.5lbs), and me 2005 (7lbs). Nothing quite like the first one. Also, I've apologized to my dad for my camara work for his fish...the hazards of photos before digital.
