From what I’ve seen, most people who are serious about shooting skeet and trap don’t shoot anything with a barrel length less than 28”. Not that you can’t but it’s less common.

I used to shoot trap pretty regularly at the Renton Fish & Game Club. There was frequently a guy there that shot with a 12ga tactical pump shotgun with an 18.5" cylinder bore. He did reasonably well with it somehow. The constant ridicule from other members seemed to roll right off his back.

Yep. Stoeger is essentially a "poor man's" Benelli, manufactured in Turkey.
