Sea Run Cutthroat in rivers. What's your jam?

For sea run cutthroat I fish a size 6 or 8 Spade or size 8 or 10 Muddler. However, after last fall I'm leaning more toward matching the hatch with either a dead drifted and then skated October caddis. It was very productive for Shad and I last September.

Rolled Muddler is what I usually fish. Sometimes Reverse Spider in orange or yellow.

For dries I’ve done well with Crane fly patterns, but for the most fun under certain conditions a size 16 BWO is the bees knees.

Careys Special in olive, brown, or peacock is my go to. steelhead like to hit them from time to time as well. i like to swing em and they typically slam it as the line straightens out downriver - try twitching or stripping it a few times before recasting always makes for an exciting hit.

Do you tie them? If so, please up some pictures here or in the What's in Your Vise thread!
