A sandwich made two oat granola bars with extra crunchy peanut butter spread between them. Same thing for lunchTimely thread. Truck is loaded, float tube inflated and strapped to my backpack. What's for breakfast?

5:00 am...coffee (good coffee) brewed, and all ready for me, from a timer.
Then a bagel. Bagels are magical. Put some butter on it, broil it for 4 minutes in the oven..then creme cheese spread. There are different bagels and different spreads.. This helps in regards to the coffee eating away at my stomach lining. Once I get on the boat, I start to eat the best fruit I can buy.
Never underestimate the power of a toasted bagel with creme cheese.
Oh, I dunno, make ahead a day or two before and throw in the nuke the morning you need it. Microwave chimes don't make all that much noise.I love breakfast and the stuff some of you guys cook up looks just awesome.
But I love fishing more and making those big breakfasts take just too much time. I need to get up (already too early) and just hit the road. Plus if I was banging around the kitchen making all that racket I'd be in hot water with management....lol
You say that like a Chicagoan.Nah. Might have to stop at an inter mountain west Les Schwab and use the FACILITIES. Maybe even two or three times. And then forget about a boat ride…
But having to throw away your waders after every fishing trip could get pretty costly.Jack in the box. Seriously. You can get a darn good breakfast plate, with eggs, pancakes and bacon, hash browns, apple juice, orange juice ,, whatever...
If you are rushing to get out on the water, and need a quick breakfast, this is a viable option.
