Thanks, Dan! I fish very similar jigs for trout - often. Had a couple great outings at the Warm Water Ditch one November fishing a similar jig with an orange bead.

Bluegill Bully... This is been, by far my most successful bluegill fly. It has lead in its butt, so it sinks, butt first as the elastic arms flutter, seemingly irresistible to the bluegills…strip and pause presentation..

Heading to the Naknek in a few weeks after the sockeye spawned…spinning up a handful of articulated flesh flies with asst colored beads and marabou/cross cut bunny in dubbing loops

Club Sandwich Parachute Drake

First try; body/tail junction a bit clunky. Further experimentation to follow but these are a hell of a lot easier for me to tie than Paradrakes, and the heads won’t blow out after a fish or two.
