There's a small lake south of Kamloops Lake that had Pennask trout stocked in it. Holy smokes! They weren't BIG - 17" max, but our 5 weights were a challenge. Beautiful trout. (Is there an ugly trout?) Glad you guys had a GREAT trip.

The lake we fished that day had a lot of 16-19” fish and they gave us a workout. Jumping above head level, running right at me and under my tube, all the tricks. I was fishing the edge of a dropoff with 20’ of leader under my indicator. Didn’t need to cast; just find the spot, drop my rig off my tube and kick a short distance away. They often shoot straight up after the hookup so I was always close to that first jump. Fun day!
