In Ephrata, it was certainly LOUD and it kind of shook the house, it woke both of us up. My wife parted the bedroom blinds to see "something", I went outside to see if there was a fire at the local fuel distribution center or something else. Dogs were barking and it was smoky but that's been the case for three weeks now. I've seen several posts on FB by locals and one very interesting one from a dash cam.
