great guy and a hella RB, first in NFL history to get 1,000 rushing and a 1,000 receiving, the ideal RB for Walsh's west coast offense... these days Christian McCaffrey pretty much version 2.0. Glad he got his jacket while still with us
 
Sad to hear about Craig, he was a stud player for sure.
 
Kyle Shanahan on NBC, asked about what makes the Seahawks so difficult: "I know you guys want my expert opinion, but I haven't scored a TD on these guys the last two times I've seen them."

I don't recall any of this from when it happened. Maybe it wasn't in the news, maybe I just forgot? But it's an extremely wild story to read today.

My takeaways? Every one of the main subjects seems to be an absolutely terrible person. And that obviously includes Ken Behring, even if just because he tried to move the team to LA (and, you know, the sexual misconduct settlements he paid and the illegal elephant hunting).
