Well, this is my 23rd season of fly fishing for carp. They are the world’s greatest freshwater sport fish for sure. People have talked to me about fishing getting old, so they stop doing it. I’ve been fly fishing since 1971. I will get too old to fish before fishing gets old to me. I will fish until I can’t. I can’t stand as long as I once could. I can’t fish as long as I once could. I can’t fish as many days in a row as I once could. Okay, okay, it’s all true, but I still love it, and I particularly love carp. They are the best! I will fish until I can’t. These bad girls make me smile so much!
