I hope you do not mind a slight diversion in your thread, because this is a cheap $24 tool bag all canvas so you could wax it. 19x9x6 with side compartments.

Made in the great USofA India. Could attach to the rear loop sections.

So UPS tracking my boat. This morning they had it arrived in Hermiston this morning but have since deleted that and says there is weather delay and no delivery date given. Now there is bad weather between Salt Lake City and Hermiston, but not between Hermiston and here. My last package I had delivered to me came from California, made it to Pasco, but then went to Hermiston for a couple days before returning to the TriCities. I’ve been to Hermiston, not sure why packages are attracted to there……

They pay well…well, nothing ;).

Kfish posted these already the dunked again thread but if there are still folks interested. Here is the boat in action to give you a sense of size. I’m right around 6 feet tall and 240lbs at the moment (working on that weight!).

It looks a little under inflated.
Cool your getting into the
stillwater game. 🤜🤛

Yeah, could be. It was cold, I had not topped it off that day with the hand pump, etc. One thing I’ll likely get in the future is something stronger than my 12v air mattress pump and a cheap hand pump.

You might look into this one. I’ve had an older version of it for years now. It was a little pricey, but i can set it where I want it (3Lbs for my pontoon) and it pumps it up and stops before I’m finished wadering up, with no additional topping off required. Plenty of oomph to pump up with the valves closed too, so it’s not necessary to top it off with a manual pump.

Hopefully yours shows up tomorrow. Mine got a test drive from our little friend in the back yard. I was in a kayak behind her and the word is that she won the race. She’s telling me that in the photo.

Working on a few small upgrades, including figuring out how to mount the Garmin 4 and transponder. Ordered another one of the integrated system mounts that I will glue on the front to hold the unit and arm with the transducer. 62A20A21-C3D3-4C32-B8F3-0059FFA437B9.jpeg

I used to use a Colman pump and then top it off with a hand pump. Exercise is good for you.

I ordered one yesterday. Say's it will be here by the 27 of this month. We'll see, A few more toys to buy and I'll be ready to fish lakes again. My last pair of fins I bought cost me 20 bucks. I chased them down again and the price has gone up in about 30 years. $62.00. Not to sure I'll spend that much for fins again.

You all are not going to believe believe this. I ordered my tube yesterday about noon. I received it this afternoon. It took only about a day after ordering it. But all I got was the tube. You have to buy the pump which I have covered. Heading out to see about a pump. Going to see if I can find a Colman pump and and a hand pump to top it off. Then all I need is the fins and the life vest, and I'll be ready to fish.

I can't believe I got it so quick after hearing all your horror stories of it being shipped all over the place until you got it. It comes out of Idaho via Vietnam.

That's great Jim. I got mine a few days ago about a week after ordering. That gave me time to get accessorized. Launching Saturday.

Nice! Where you launching first? Going to go go out and see if anything has repopulated the Berkeley Pit…. ;)?

No, there is still a threat of snow here in Butte. Have to get all my gear around. I sold most of my lake fishing shit when I moved here to Montana. So now I have re-gear myself to fish. Just got some float tube fins at Bob Wards, searching for a pump soon, and life vest''

Jim, lakes and bamboo are a blast! That’s what Lue and I do 99% of the time year round. Skipping school tomorrow and hitting a lake....58 no rain and light W.

I think your iPhone might still be emanating EM field to call the fish into that area :)

I missed many this morning but first fish was solid.

Your post was both awesome (screaming deal on that boat! Fishing report rolled up as well!) and terrible (i am eating breakfast as i read it, and found myself looking at my wife and wondering “will she murder me if i buy this just a few weeks after buying a new Hobie pedal fishing kayak? Probably...”).

Kidding aside, great post - thank you

Looks like your into some good weather. Our forecast is for snow. I quit going out in shitty weather. I don't care if it wants to snow. I'm still trying to get set up for lake fishing. Found a pair of fins yesterday at Bob Wards. 44 bucks I think. That beats Cabela's by 20 bucks. Now looking for a air pump and a life vest. And then I'm just about set. I know what I want so don't try to sway me into something else. Plus I always buy new.

Just how many of you bought this new float tube. I know I did. But I haven't put the air to it yet. I have to empty my p/u out of what the wife put in it. I need the room for the new float tube. I see brighter days ahead. It actually got nice out today was out in a short sleeved shirt. I know it hit 56.

This may well explain why I'm still waiting for mine to arrive - and all this time I thought it was just the evil Big Brown and their crummy service. ;-)
Did you get your float tube yet?
