Seems like those little furry turds like to do almost anything to irritate us…..they pick my plums and Asian pears, take one or two bites then get another! Digging in the garden “looking” for peanuts they forgot where they buried just to name a few.

I had a squirrel leaping over my short garden fence inorder to feast on raspberries.

I made friends with a squirrel a couple of years ago. Peanuts with organic peanut butter. That was the key. I did not dump a bunch of food ...I made "Douglas" work for every peanut. I made him tightrope, jump and leap. A true circus. He'd eat from my hand but preferred the circus. I used a spoon to spread (organic) peanut butter on the peanuts. I often let Douglas lick the spoon. One day I let him hold the spoon while he licked it. It was so cute. The next day I handed him the spoon, he instantly took it and dragged it under the fence.
