Yup, did you see him flopping out of the sunroof? Airbags went off and pushed him out, no seatbelt. If it was the driver's window, he would not be alive. Lucky he was in a Ford tank, all he got was a cut on the head. The guy who he hit was OK, too.

Disturbing or harassing wildlife in a US national park is a federal offense that, while often treated as a misdemeanor, can escalate to a felony depending on the severity and specific laws broken. General violations typically carry penalties of up to six months in jail and a $5,000 to $10,000 fine. The Rangers should have issued citations... DROP THE HAMMER! Make an example of them!
Back in the the day when checking in at Paradise for a summit climb we got an experience and equipment assessment, or the PA ONP station checks for IGBC approved hard-sided bear cannisters to get permits (my IGBC approved Ursack Major should qualify!). IMHO NPs should require some sort signed form from every driver or every tourbus passenger that they understand intentional disturbing - harrassing wildlife, or playing in geothermal pools for that matter is against the law, and WHY!
Should get a few nights in the slammer just for trashing such a nice boat!
Seriously though, glad the dummy is ok and really glad he didn't hurt or kill someone else.

He was in the hospital for his injuries. He left the hospital against the doctor's advice. Now there is a warrant out on his stupid arse. KGW: Scotty Oldfield was taken to the hospital shortly after this crash in Milwaukie, Oregon in early May. He left the hospital and a warrant is now out for his arrest.

Yellowstone area and the Beartooth’s got a lot of early spring snow. The Beartooth highway opened fairly late this year and the Tourons are just now starting to arrive. I went up shortly after they got the highway plowed to get my Park fishing license and it wasn’t very busy. They’ll pump up the numbers soon!
