Starting to plan for fall where I will be headed to Idaho for an extended deer and elk hunt in September.

I will need cooler upgrades. Looking towards a cheaper 120-150qt cooler for the meat haul home (6 hours) and a higher quality one for drink/food and also meat haul home (fingers crossed). Any advice? I don't really want to spend top of line money but I see a lot of middle of the road options.

I don't know how big they make them, but I'm really happy with my Lifetime coolers.

For the price of a Yeti you could fly it home...

Check out Engels. I saw one YouTube video in which they had a shootout of all the high-end super-insulated coolers, and it won over the Yeti. (Plus, it's cheaper than the Yeti!)

And Engel is the original roto molded cooler Yeti just marketed it better.

I'm a big Pelican fan (I have two) ...
Pros: Made in the USA, lifetime warranty, incredible ice retention.
Cons: they are heavy (30 qt weighs 21 pounds)

It's a very high bar to be hip in Soap Lake....

We have two Canyon Prospector 103s for the rafts and a CaterGator 110 for the cataraft. They all work well when prechilled with ice and dry ice, plus we have added closed cell foam to the lids and always use the reflective bubble wrap. The CaterGator used to be a super deal but the price has gone up.
