I was unable to sleep recently (Oh the joys of being over 50!). I somehow stumbled on to a list of patriots in the pro football hall of fame. They are :

NAMEPOSITION/TITLEYEAR INDUCTED
Nick BuonicontiLB2001
John HannahOL/G1991
Mike HaynesDB/CB1997
Ty LawDB/CB2019
Curtis MartinHB/RB2012
Randy MossWR2018
Bill ParcellsHC2013
Darrelle RevisDB/CB2023
Junior SeauLB2015
Richard SeymourDL/DE2022
Andre TippettLB2008

Maybe it's me, but I think that there is something wrong. I can't understand how a team that has been to 10 superbowls over 25 years winning 6 of them has 6 players in the hall of fame. Four of those players played the majority of their careers in other places. Rodney Harrison, Vince Wilfork, Logan Mankins and Teddy Bruschi all have been snubbed. It's bizzarre to me. The voters have snubbed the coaches too, Bellichik is not in. Dante Scarnechia 100% should be in the hall of fame. Where is Vinitiari? Do they have something against kickers who make all fo the clutch kicks? I mean he is only the all-time leading scorer in the NFL. No Willie McGinnest, the actual leader of the 1st dynasty.

I am guessing that Brady and Gronk will get in. It just seems crazy to me that Lynn Swann and John Stallworth are in the Hall of fame and Rodney Harrison and Vince Wilfork are not. Hell, Stanley Morgan was a better player than Swann or Stallworth.

It is an odd rabbit hole to go down with results that are just sort of mistifying. The Cowboys have 22 HOF players. The Steelers have 30 (including Swann).

Obviously, the Belichick snub this year was noteworthy for it's pettiness but I think the fact that they refuse to put other Pats players/ coaches in the hall is really unneccesary. I mean how do you go to 9 superbowls and win 6 and not have core players like Wilfork, Vinitiari, Bruschi and Mankins that are in the Hall of Fame.

Donta Hightower is unlikely to make it. However, he should, especially since Lynn Swann did. No linebacker has ever played as well in superbowls as Hightower did. He is simply the greatest superbowl linebacker ever and there is no one even close to him. He was the best player on the field vs. the Rams in 2018 by a large margin. He stopped Lynch on the goal line with a torn labrum prior to the Butler pick. He had the strip sack of Matt Ryan to get the 28-3 comeback rolling. No linebacker has ever had the impact he has had in Super bowls.

Any one pay attention to the flag football tournament this past weekend? Yea, the one where all the teams comprised of former and current NFL players lost to the US national team!

Spygate and Deflategate pissed off a lot of owners, especially those in Bellichick's division.
That the Patriots don't have more HOF players is a reflection of just how well coached and schemed his players were,
pretty much 'he'll beat you with his and he'll beat you with yours.'
At least Bill's conducting himself with dignity these days...lol

Treat the media poorly for your entire career, and then the media doesn't vote for you.

Unsurprisingly...

With Puka Nacua being sued for yet another antisemitic incident, is Rams still likely to give him a max contract or send him on his way?

He's also had some issues internally with the team, bringing his entourage or social media crew to the team building when not supposed to per team rules, or live-streaming after a game in the locker room, which he also wasn't supposed to (because of past rants).

Because of his talent, his extended contract will probably include extensive fine print related to his behavior and past giving the Rams and out without losing money.
