Capt Insano Emeritis
Legend
I am still at digging stuff out of moms house to rescue from imminent truck loads to waste management. My brother and nephew are bulls in the china shop when it comes to cleaning out the house. They also still have jobs, poor guys! I feel I have to be the one to save our heritage and it is not a monetary stuff consideration it is all those things carefully saved from generations. Mom did what i am doing now. I feel it is an obligation to pass on the story of our family. And Jeanne is an ancestry researcher par excellence so as the last generation of our paternal namesake and no sons, I feel obligated and am fulfilled by doing so.
Found this crammed into a basement crevice and spent a day or so restoring it. Asbestos I can. It was painted in 1972 while studying art in college. It is an imaginative portrait of my moms mother Christy who spent some time at The steilicom hospital in around 1944. Mom was on HS leave in what would have been her senior year to care for her dad and younger sister.
