Snow falling on cedars. Big flakes.

4" of snow and still coming down hard and wet with big flakes.

It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood. except when one drives themselves to the ER and then home in it in the middle of the night. NOT fun!

Well, there were some big flakes coming down here but they melted quickly off the patio, and turned back to rain.
Here in the Cntrl Pierce banana belt my weather station is reporting 34° but WDOT webcams at the Pierce-King line shows snow and slush so it might go back and forth depending how far south the convergence zone moves back and forth.
At any rate my weather station also shows there has been 1.88" precip here over 24 hrs.
And this is what Cliff Mass mentioned yesterday

Looks fun!! I'm out in Carnation atm.. had to weave my way into town as there are downed power poles and trees down! Plus a fire truck and some some near one of the big places near the snoqualmie river!!

Yesterday rainfall was over 2". Today barley a drop, but the wind was blowing like crazy! Watching the backyard neighbor's fence wobble, Tonight the wind has kinda calmed down a bit, but the rain is back.

Yesterday our daughter in Redmond (WA) posted a pic to our family group chat of a couple inches of snow out her window.
Our daughter in San Diego texted back "Is that real?? It was 90° where I was working yesterday!"
Ah, West Coast!
There has been some noticeable improvement in the WA precipitation.

I truly hope some of the colder air and white stuff extends (not moves) southward so the Oregon mountain ranges can get a long draught (not drought).
