NFR AI - How It Will Affect Jobs In The Next 5 years

I am a strong proponent of using AI when it makes sense as well as it is safe. IMHO AI is in its infancy and needs to be used with caution and oversight. There are a lot of drumbeats touting AI. The other side also needs to be provided.

It is the purgatory waiting room for professional creative folk. I abhor its current overuse. AI perpetuates stupidity for toomany people. Now if you are invested emotionally or finacially you probably are believers because that is the current American way. I prefer humanitarian sensibilities.
 
Studies already showing AI is damaging student critical thinking, creativity and independent reasoning skills as platforms like ChatGPT write essays for them.
And as a mofo of ironies up to 60% of teachers are currently using AI tools to grade student papers.....with over 60% of them written by AI.

Lazy teachers serially abuse kids learning curves if they do not share a piece of themselves. That is humanity with purpose. I was a sub teacher in middle school and highs school in Washougal Wa. The only part that made the job fun was the sharing- the human part. It was a retirement job.2014-2019.

Doctors, police officers, airline pilots and teachers...nothing better than a good one, nothing worse than a bad one.
 
Its all a big scam these days with these tech AI variant internet-based tech systems. They just want you to PAY MONEY. Its all about these HOURKY CHARGES these days!!! Being discussed as a Major Obstacle in several PROMINANT tech circles of which I AM INVOLVED.

Here's an interesting take on the future of AI based on the recent history of recording studios. The video posits that there will be a move of AI from the Internet/data centers to users' local workstations as their processing power grows. It happened as musicians began putting together their own recording studios at home.



Interesting parallel. Never rule out Moore's law...
 
I don't talk to AI. And I never pick one up when I see them hitch hiking. Yesterday I saw one at the gym working out. The thing was pathetic! Couldn't even work the treadmill without human intervention. Wouldn't get near the free weights and couldn't make a free throw to save it's code! So sad! If you put Travers up against a hundred of them, my money is on Travers. He'd pound those fuckers back to some primordial stone age in less time than it takes to do long division. Fookin' AI!

There are free options. I'm going to try Perplexity out.. it's supposed to be free.. I've mainly used ChatGPT and Gemini but have tried a lot of different options! I'll make AI changes to your AVATAR!! 😄
