Since there are so many car guys on here, is there a product to seal a crack in the headlight on my mother's car? Replacing it would be expensive i assume, but I don't want water to get into it.

Or is replacing it best to do?

Maybe, I found a product called Plastifix that might work. I really just want to make sure that water doesn't get into the headlight...

I used the clear tape on my back taillight where there was a tiny crack on the inside edge. It works!

Make sure that whatever you use is UV resistant...oh, wait I forgot that the sun never shines on your side of the state.

What is the "sun" you speak of? I occasionally see a bright ball of fire in the sky, but it's quickly covered with clouds and drizzling rain.. please enlighten me!

If you can find clear silicone RTV, it will cure, remain flexible and, if properly applied, waterproof the headlight until the next time something grazes the fixture.

Clear Tenacious Tape has worked very well, on exterior glass or plastic, for me. I think clear Gorilla Tape is about the same thing.
