Pain in the ass though, she wants to chew them, thinking it’s like the obedience training dumbbell, which she only retrieves because she thinks it’s a chew toy.

We rescued a new pup. This is Tilly. Best we can tell, she’s a pit/boxer mx with maybe some mastiff mixed in. It was a foster to adopt situation and it was a little rocky at first. She has to warm up to men (she and I are good buddies now) and it took a few days. The introduction to Hanzo was a little rocky at first too but they’re pretty much married now. She knows all the basic commands but she has issues with personal space (my poor balls) and she wants to be all up in your grill but we’re working on it. We decided to adopt. She’s a very sweet girl.

It's always fun to run the fields the week after a hunt trial. Chukar overload for the dogs.
Sherman is definitely my dog now and thinks he's a lap dog. Since I've been home from hospital after my Stroke has been on my six. Seems only time he's not with me is when he's at my wife's animal hospital for work (he's a universal blood user).

Lately when I work in the garage or front yard, oddly I find her on the front porch watching the world.
And then, mom came home, instead of coming in through the garage to get in the house, she expects mom to open the front door for her and say hi.

Isn’t it interesting that each dog is an individual. Cats can be too and I’ve had a couple that stand out. But your relationship with Mr Dog develops and ripens over time. My guy tries to be with me 24/7 now as an example. Not feasible but our bond grows every day/week/month, and I dread the goodbye that’s no doubt coming. Not sure how to deal with that. I have in the past with other dogs, but this guy is special.
