Had to stop there this morning and someone(s) destroyed the porta potty or bathroom. Absolutely disgusting and unusable!

Any idea who to call to complain? WDFW? Parks department?

I'll google both! WA has some of the worst cared for bathrooms. I've been all over Montana for years and never come across anything, nothing as bad. In WA, it's a different story. I realize we have more people, but seriously. It was probably kids thinking it would be funny or whatever. It's really just sad, considering the taxes we pay and the amount for licenses and doesn't seem like too much to ask. It may have just happened, but I doubt it.

I opened the door to the shitter at Blue Creek one time and it looked like someone had just stuck their bare ass in there and fired off 20 or so rounds. Nope. 0/5 stars.

Fortson was worse than even this one. Potholes campground was disgusting as well.. sad state of affairs..

The fault here is not the government. The fault lies with the parents who raised the person(s) responsible for the damage. We are quick to assign blame, but seldom look in the right direction. We want the government to fix things, but we also want it done without taxation.

Let’s do a better parenting job first.

True but they do have to be maintained. And this was significant damage! I didnt want to take a picture! But the seat and whole unit was removed and off to the side.. plus the shit was mounded up! Disgusting! And yes, shitty parenting!

'cleaning' outhouses, generally does not include having to fix DAMAGE.

People f’n suck. This kind of bs happens all too often.
Call the company that services it. The name should be on the outside with the phone number if you were able to get that close.

The old concrete block shitter at Lewis Street was a scary micro dungeon Hellscape. Not sure if it's still there but wow that thing had some stories to tell.

I've seen some really weird stuff in and around the crappers across from the rainbow market at the warm springs launch on the Big D in years past, super sketchy back in the day.

During the Government shutdown under President Obama one week the unit at Oxbow looked like a firefighting helicopter had dropped a load of excrement and TP in, around and all over the crapper there. Never seen anything like it before or since, musta been some kind of grass roots protest against DNR or something.

As stated above people F'n such.

Also agree that both Montana and Oregon are generally much better, especially MT.

Well of course it does.. maybe not for the cleaning company, but I'm sure stuff like this happens.. I know when I worked at Total Wine, a guy literally blew up the men's bathroom.. lost it long before he got to the toilet, all over the floor and one of the managers, my boss at the time had to clean it up. One of the employees almost quit, he wouldn't do it, clean it up I mean, but someone had too.. think a hazmat suit should have been necessary or one of the companies like ServePro.. I never saw it, but I wouldn't have volunteered to do it anyways. And I worked in histology, part of pathology during college at the UW hospital.. saw things that I could never unsee! Nuff said on that one! Cheers!

Raised a few. Neither of them will set foot in a porta potty. It's kind of a self teaching thing.

Lots to be said there. I'll skip all my WA stories, I have plenty, all disgusting. To your point, here's a typical example in Ohio - we manage our parks and fisheries much differently (note, the little gadget on the far wall in the mirror is a thermostat...cold restrooms would suck). Btw this is the men's side...

Sorry for the hijacking but this discussion reminds me of a true story. Early in my career, I was the assistant manager of a large state wildlife area in the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta. We had an outhouse contract which maintained about 15 or so outhouses year around on our property for hunters, anglers and other members of the public to use. Normally, the large company (rumored to have ties to organized crime) in the Bay Area would get the contract. One year, they lost out to a small mom and pop outfit that used wooden outhouses (that they made themselves) instead of the molded plastic/fiberglass ones.

Within a month or so, a half dozen of them were utterly destroyed as in blown up with dynamite or some other explosive. We had game wardens and state police investigate and they never could figure out who did it. Ultimately, the mom and pop company had to bail on the contract because they were losing outhouses at a rate that was unsustainable. You guessed it, the big Bay Area company came to the rescue and the outhouse bombings stopped.
