Trident isn't my favorite online retailer but I occasionally do check their sales and used gear. I have a thing for flashlights. I received this today and it's pretty awesome. A good deal at $14.
650 lumens and smaller than an AA battery! I can't speak to longevity yet, but I already dropped it on a hard floor a couple times and it didn't break. Speaking of which, I wish the body was knurled or otherwise more grippy, instead of slippery.

Maybe the higher price tag and extra 17 ounces of weight for the older Danner saltwater boots compared to their new made in Italy version? I'm glad I bought a discounted pair last fall, Patagonia has already sold out in most sizes.
Wouldn't have minded the River Salts in addition to my foot tractors but I'll just use the foot tractors and call it leg day.
Even if Patagonia decided to stop reconditioning the older Danner boots the soles are still stitched (and nailed?) on so a cobbler should be able to resole them.
