I've been to puerto rico several times love puerto rican people.But why are we celebrating this in the middle of the super bowl??..
As I was voice commanding this, my wife informed me that there's this person called bad bunny... That's beloved by america...
I'm getting old .. "news to me!.."

What happened to something like Evel knievel jumping a tank of sharks for the halftime show with multiple military flyovers... i understand diversity is extremely American. But what's more American than an ill advised Jump over a tank of sharks on an ill advised style of motorcycle.!!!????...

We're not going to get into the Bad Bunny debate here. He's a natural born American citizen (as Puerto Ricans are) and performed at the Super Bowl. Anything else beyond that can be debated on Facebook.

You're not alone. I never heard of Bad Bunny until it was announced that he'd do the SB half time show. But then there's a whole age group of musicians - maybe more - that I've never heard of. No surprise, the music I'm familiar with was on an "oldies station" in the mid-1980s.

In hindsight, I kinda' wish I'd paid more attention to the half time show because it included so many cultural concepts for those who were looking. Me - I was busy making my dip recipe and whipping up another double margarita for the second half of the game.

My wife recorded the SB half-time show only for my daughter because Bad Bunny was in the show.

I had never heard of him either....thought it was fantastic!

That halftime show was really good for some of the reasons you mentioned. It was really a big story....and great story telling at that. One didn't have to understand a word he was saying to get that out of it if one paid attention.

Don't really care about the combine, but I always love the free agency period and then the draft....never a dull moment.
