Realizing that we just hit the 4 year mark! And who would have ever thought @Josh, @Billy and I had it in us to drag this thing along for 4 trips around the sun?
Still can't believe we pulled it off - getting an announcement of an unwanted takeover of the previous forum many of us had been part of for a very long time, to getting this thing here not only up and running, but ACTIVE, within a couple days was quite a thing. Not to mention the hard work that so many of you put in to get the word out while we were building - that's the part that really made the difference.
A few years in, and it's still remarkable how well this community comes together and just has fun, discusses things, and keeps things awesome without much moderation or mediation. That's an increasingly rare thing in this world we live in. We don't take it for granted.
We never set out to get rich, or even make money. We just want this place to exist. We think fishing and outdoor activities in the Northwest are far more enjoyable when you have a community to share it with. Thus our business model and way we continue to do things. Not many places like this left on the internet that aren't looking to sell you, the user (and your data), as the product. So we appreciate every bit of financial support that we receive to keep the lights on. Can never thank you all enough for that.

For those who participate here and haven't contributed, it's never too late to start! These places cost money to run, and they take a lot of time to keep running smoothly. Hopefully one day we can afford to compensate the time part, too
