It's going down March 13 & 14.

personally, I'll probably be doing 2 sessions each day (big musky stuff---shocker) and probably helping out with one of the sessions of the youth programs. Hope to see some "old" folks and new....there.

I'm not totally sure about which times I'll be assigned to, but that should come out in a few weeks.

🍻

I will be there as an attendee enjoying the spectacle.

On a side note, one of my fishin' buddies, Steve Savill, was the new President of the Oregon Chapter of FFI and taking charge of the Expo. Sadly, Steve passed away a few weeks ago leaving a big hole in our hearts and in the FFI organization. Past President Sherry Steele is stepping up and taking charge of the Expo. Please give her your support as she moves forward.

You will see a memorium table for Steve.

Where do youse guys recommend staying while in town? I'm tempted to camp, but probably would prefer a night in a hotel with a nice bed and shower..

Are you participating? If so, they have discounts at area hotels. Personally, I'm driving back and forth (I'm only in Beaverton though).

I'm willing to participate! Who do I talk too? I'll model for the calendar, tie flies and entertain the women.. haha!

My commute is quite long…
About a block and half away.
I could walk, but I’ll drive with my stuff.
Will be tying two sessions both days. (At least that is what I had signed up for.)
Hope to see some of ya there.
I’ll have my PNWFF hat on.

Bring your tyin stuff…keep it simple on the amount of stuff ya bring and tie a “killing pattern”. Look for Sherry Steele (most likely at #2 table space up front by the A-frame tyers schedule). If they have empty tying locations…

This is how I got my start at the Expo in 2014. I like to give out a handout for the pattern/materials list… and I give the fly away if ya sit and watch me tie. (Not all do that…it’s just me, as I like to share the knowledge I had learned…passing it forward.)

There are lots of AIRBNB offerings in the area as well—Albany and Corvallis. Better restaurants in Corvallis if past experience is any gauge.

I'll do it! I was thinking of tying at the FF Show in Bellevue! I'll start here, with an Olive Willy and some intruders on tubes! Love both!

We used to use a trailer in the back of event. There was a few hotels nearby we used to use. One of my army buddies live nearby so I'll be staying with him.
